Creation of an extensive new basement and major structural alterations to a Victorian house in West London. The project involved:
- Complete rebuilding of the rear elevation
- Construction of a large glazed kitchen extension to the rear, opening the house up to the newly landscaped garden and terraces
- The client also wished to bring light into the ground floor; this was achieved by the design of bespoke glazed folding doors that link the ground floor reception rooms and new kitchen.
Careful consideration was taken to respect the feel of the Victorian house, while incorporating modern features and state of the art technology.
